Terms of Service
The rules for using GuildSignal.
[Last updated: 16 August 2026]
GuildSignal is currently an early-stage product. Until a formal business entity is registered, the service is operated by Khalid Muzaffar based in Poland. These terms may be updated if GuildSignal is later operated by a registered business entity.
1. Who we are
GuildSignal is operated by:
- Operator
- Khalid Muzaffar
- Location
- Poland
- Contact
- Khalid.h.muzaffar@gmail.com
If GuildSignal is later operated by a registered business or company, these terms will be updated with the relevant legal entity details.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, connecting Discord, or using GuildSignal, you agree to these Terms.
3. Service description
GuildSignal connects to selected Discord servers and channels, analyzes community messages, detects issues and feedback trends, generates reports, supports Ask Timmy, and integrates with tools such as Jira and GitHub.
4. Accounts and workspaces
Users are responsible for:
- keeping login details secure;
- activity in their workspace;
- selecting the correct Discord server and channels; and
- ensuring they have permission to connect and monitor selected channels.
One workspace is intended to monitor one Discord server unless the selected plan allows more.
5. Authority to connect Discord and integrations
Users confirm they have the right and authority to connect Discord servers, channels, Jira projects, GitHub repositories, or other integrations. Users are responsible for informing community members or internal teams where required.
6. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- use GuildSignal for illegal purposes;
- connect servers or integrations without permission;
- process data they have no right to process;
- abuse rate limits or attempt to avoid plan limits;
- reverse engineer, attack, disrupt, or overload the service;
- use the service for harassment, discrimination, surveillance, or harmful profiling;
- upload malware or harmful content; or
- resell or copy the service without permission.
7. AI and analysis outputs
GuildSignal provides automated and AI-assisted insights. Outputs may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before acting on them.
GuildSignal does not guarantee detection of every issue, sentiment trend, risk, bug, or community problem.
8. Integrations
Discord, Jira, GitHub, Stripe, and other services are third-party platforms. GuildSignal is not responsible for outages, permission changes, API changes, billing problems, or data handling by those third-party services. Users are responsible for their third-party accounts and permissions.
9. Plans, billing, and subscriptions
GuildSignal may offer Free, Studio, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe or another billing provider.
Plan limits may include:
- workspaces and Discord servers;
- tracked channels and analyzed messages;
- reports and integrations; and
- storage and retention.
If a limit is reached, analysis or features may stop until the user upgrades, waits for reset, or reduces usage. No automatic overage billing should occur unless clearly stated before purchase.
Refunds and cancellations
You may cancel a paid GuildSignal subscription at any time from your billing settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
GuildSignal does not normally provide refunds or prorated refunds for partially used billing periods, unused time, unused message credits, unused reports, or unused workspace capacity.
Refunds may be considered where required by law or in limited cases such as duplicate charges, billing errors, accidental upgrades that were not used, or a paid subscription that could not be activated due to a GuildSignal technical issue.
Because GuildSignal provides digital services that may start immediately after purchase, including Discord syncing, message analysis, issue detection, reports, and integrations, you agree that the service may begin before the end of any statutory withdrawal period where applicable. If you are a consumer and applicable law gives you a withdrawal right, you may be asked during checkout to expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you may lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully provided or once digital service performance has begun, to the extent allowed by law.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact Khalid.h.muzaffar@gmail.com with your account email, workspace name, payment date, and reason for the request. Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method through the payment provider.
GuildSignal may refuse refunds where there is evidence of abuse, repeated refund requests, violation of these Terms, or substantial use of paid features during the billing period.
10. Beta / early access
GuildSignal is currently early-stage beta software. Features may change, be removed, break, or be limited. The service may include bugs or incomplete functionality.
11. Data ownership
Users retain ownership of their community and workspace data. GuildSignal receives a limited right to process that data to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.
12. Confidentiality and security
GuildSignal will use reasonable efforts to protect workspace data and connected integration data. Users should not submit highly sensitive information unless they are comfortable processing it through the service.
13. Intellectual property
GuildSignal owns the product, software, website, UI, branding, Timmy mascot, and documentation. Users may not copy, resell, modify, or create competing services using GuildSignal materials without permission.
14. Availability
GuildSignal may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, third-party issues, Discord, Jira, or GitHub API limitations, rate limits, or technical problems. No uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
15. Suspension and termination
GuildSignal may suspend or terminate access if:
- these Terms are violated;
- payment fails;
- usage is abusive;
- a security risk exists; or
- a legal requirement applies.
Users may stop using the service or cancel a subscription according to the available billing flow.
16. Disclaimers
GuildSignal is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. GuildSignal does not guarantee specific business, game, product, financial, or community outcomes.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuildSignal’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the service in the previous 3 months, or 100 EUR if no paid subscription exists.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
19. Changes
GuildSignal may update these Terms as the product, pricing, operator, or legal requirements change. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to Khalid.h.muzaffar@gmail.com.
These Terms may be updated as GuildSignal develops, introduces new billing options, or begins operating through a registered business entity.
